Montana Tech T2450 aluminium Primer 400ml

Montana PRIMER Aluminium T2450 (400 ml) is a specially developed primer for aluminium surfaces, designed to create a smooth and neutral base for further painting. It provides optimal adhesion for subsequent varnishes, including acrylic, nitro-combi and synthetic-based paints.

The primer has properties that prevent flaking and cracking, which ensures a durable and long-lasting finish. The light grey, matt surface provides an aesthetically smooth surface and improves the end result when applying paints from, for example, the Montana GOLD, BLACK, WHITE, TECH and EFFECT series. With certain limitations, it can also be used on copper and zinc.

For best results, it is recommended that the surface is lightly sanded with fine sandpaper and that it is completely clean, dry and free of dust and grease before application. The primer is applied easily and evenly thanks to medium pressure and the included Montana FLAT JET Medium cap.

Usage:

Shake the can thoroughly for 2–3 minutes before use. Apply in several thin coats using sweeping motions, allowing approximately 5 minutes to dry between coats. Surface can be overcoated after 2-4 hours, but some paint systems may require up to 24 hours of curing. Always test on a less visible area to ensure compatibility.
