Montana METAL PRIMER is a high-quality primer designed to create a smooth and neutral surface for further painting on metal surfaces. With its rust-proof properties, it prevents oxidation and extends the life of both artwork and DIY projects.

The primer provides a matte finish and ensures optimal adhesion for subsequent paint layers, for example from the Montana GOLD, BLACK or WHITE series. It also contributes to increased protection against scratches and impacts, which makes the end result both more durable and aesthetically pleasing.

The product is developed for pre-treatment of metal (iron and brass) and mineral surfaces. For best results, the substrate should be clean, dry and free of dust and grease before application. Please note that the primer is not suitable for aluminum.

Application is easy with the included Montana FLAT JET CAP Medium, which provides an even and controlled spray pattern. For variation, other caps can also be used, such as the FLAT JET WIDE or Montana LEVEL series.

For best results, apply the primer in several thin coats, with approximately 1-2 minutes between each application. Allow the primer to cure for at least 24 hours before applying additional paint. Always test on a less visible area first to ensure compatibility.
