– A typology of phallic graffiti collected across ten countries over a decade (2014–2023)

Alongside initials, hearts, and simple faces, the drawing of a penis remains one of the most persistent and instinctive gestures in graffiti culture.

This publication brings together photographs gathered over ten years, taken in ten different countries. Wherever the artist has traveled, these crude yet unmistakable marks of human presence have been documented and archived. They appear without exception—across neighborhoods, cities, and continents. Again and again, the same form emerges: direct, repetitive, and strangely universal. The phallus advances endlessly, locked in a continuous circular movement through public space.
