The leading contemporary and underground art bible from the US. Juxtapoz is a monthly magazine with the latest news and trends about art, fashion, tattoos, photography.
In this issue:
Juxtapoz is very pleased to have San Francisco-based and legendary tattoo artist, Ed Hardy, grace the cover of both our newsstand and subscriber covers for the June 2011 issue. Currently preparing a major show at the Artists Gallery with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Hardy talks to us about both origins of American tattooing, and his visions of the future.
The June issue also features an extensive behind-the-scenes story on the making of the new book, The History of American Graffiti, with authors Roger Gastman and Caleb Neelon. We also look at performance-art troupe, Bread and Puppet, the new works of Brian Adam Douglas (aka Elbow Toe), and the creepy fine art photography and collage work of Marnie Weber.
