A stop-motion book by Olabo, published in a limited edition of 300 copies in connection with the exhibition “Negative Positive” at HL Gallery in 2012.

The exhibition and the book are part of a longer art project with the same name. It began in 2010 in the street environment and later continued within the four walls of the gallery in the exhibition “Negative Positive” at HL Gallery in 2012. The project revolves around the wooden lattice structures that have appeared in long rows along the subway since the late 1990s. These wooden lattices also cover a large number of the city’s electrical cabinets and smaller buildings, and since their introduction have spread to some private properties as well. The purpose has been to prevent the application of anything visually comprehensible on the surface.
