MTN limited edition 400ml, Circle Jerks. Circle Jerks was born out of the punk scene in LA's South Bay in 1979. After co-founding Black Flag and contributing vocals to their Nervous Breakdown EP, Keith Morris teamed up with former Redd Kross guitarist Greg Hetson – and Circle Jerks took shape.

Unlike much of the raw hardcore that emerged in American suburbs, Circle Jerks were both uncompromising and thoughtful. Their sound combined a powerful and tight rhythm section with straightforward, honest – sometimes fiercely mocking – lyrics. The result: a band that quickly became one of the hardcore scene's most respected and influential forces.

Since the 80s, Zander Schloss has held the bass steady, and today the lineup is rounded out by drummer Joey Castillo.
