The Climax 1730-C FFP3 filtering half-mask is designed to effectively capture dust particles, mist, and fumes, as well as provide protection against ozone generated during industrial processes. The mask is lightweight and comfortable, offering very low breathing resistance—even against dolomite dust, a very fine dust that typically clogs the material's pores and saturates the filter surface.

Applications: Grinding, cutting, and drilling of wood, stainless steel, paint, varnish, and anti-corrosive coatings; solvent-based painting; and asbestos remediation.

It offers good protection against dust particles but does not protect against the gases found in spray cans; therefore, only short-term use is recommended during spray painting.
