This book is a full-color facsimile of a ring binder discovered in a tunnel near the Odenplan subway station, Västmannagatan exit. Inside are official SL memos from the 1990s that employees transformed into a kind of analog social network—scribbling jokes, notes, and messages to one another on the blank backs of the printouts.

Akay has preserved this unique artifact of informal communication, turning it into a time capsule of a specific subculture working below ground during a particular moment in Stockholm’s history.

Includes an introductory essay by Helena Durgé, former SL ticket agent and contributor to the original material, now curator of contemporary documentation at the Stockholm Transport Museum.
