MTN limited edition 400ml, Crash. At the age of 13, John Matos began following the older graffiti artists in the area to the train depots, where he quickly became completely absorbed in painting. After accidentally crashing the school computer, he adopted the stage name CRASH, a name that soon began to appear on trains rolling throughout New York.

In the early 1980s, CRASH took the step from the train yard to the center of the art world. In 1980, he curated the groundbreaking exhibition Graffiti Art Success for America at Fashion MODA in New York - an initiative that was the starting point for graffiti as an established art form and which still influences the scene worldwide.
