Jonathan "Ollio" Josefsson started painting with spray cans in Gothenburg in the mid-90s. Since then, he has built up his own world of monsters and patterns. Today he is one of Sweden's most interesting visual artists and his work is now presented in the book Ollio: Monsters and patterns by Jonathan Josefsson.
Jonathan Josefsson quickly became a central figure on Gothenburg's graffiti and street art scene in the 90s. He was important to the development of the art form and soon found his own expression which he has refined through a range of techniques. He has participated in the city's zero-tolerance against street art and succeeded in the art of getting a cultural grant from the city of Gothenburg for the placement of his tags in the city space.
