Painted Graves Vol. 2

Painted Graves Vol. 2 tells the story of Opak and the SDK crew, who left a strong mark on the European train graffiti scene in the 1990s and 2000s. After having stopped painting trains in France in 2001, and when SNCF later decided to scrap the classic “petits gris” trains, Opak decided to embark on one last journey: to document and paint the legendary trains before they disappeared forever.

In Painted Graves Vol. 2, Olivier Scuro continues to go through archives, photographs and memories. The book pays tribute to friends who passed away too soon, and the trains that have now almost completely disappeared from the tracks.
