The photoemulsion method of screen printing allows artists to create a photographic stencil with highly detailed images. Speedball's Diazo Photo Emulsion & Sensitizer offers professional quality results and eliminates the need for expensive equipment and darkrooms. For use with polyester screen, Speedball's Diazo Photo Emulsion & Sensitizer can be used with any water-soluble or solvent-based ink and can be easily removed with Speedball's Photo Emulsion Remover.
Store in a dark and cool place. Ready mixture lasts 4-8 weeks at room temperature, and up to 4 months in the refrigerator. Unmixed product lasts for 3 years.
Speedballs Photo Emulsion carries the AP label.
Unscrew the cap on DIAZO Sensitizer and fill the bottle halfway with water. Screw the cap back on and then shake the bottle well. Then pour the mixture into the jar of DIAZO Photo Emulsion. Mix thoroughly. The mixture will change color from blue to green. It is then ready to use. Then store the mixture in a dark place, preferably in the refrigerator. If you store the mixture in the refrigerator, you can allow it to return to room temperature before use.
