Winsor & Newton Oil Painting Primer 500 ml

This oil paint primer from Winsor & Newton is ready to use straight from the can and contains a non-yellowing oil modified alkyd resin medium. The primer does not need to be prepared or mixed before use.

Can be used directly on metal or other porous surfaces such as canvas, untreated wood, plywood, paper and the like without it noticeably sinking into the material. If you want a colored primer, you can mix in some oil paint for a tint. The primer allows the surface to be painted to receive the oil paint without the surface becoming chalky or absorbing.
