Schmincke Oxgall is a synthetic agent that is used to wet water colours and gouache colours. This wetting agent reduces the surface tension of the paint and makes it more fluid. It also helps the paint adhere better to the surface you are painting. Dilute the product with a little water on a separate palette and then mix it with the paint. Use the product sparingly.
