Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Water-Colour Ground, Transparent

Horadam Aquarell Water-Colour Ground, Transparent is a light-resistant and non-aging primer/primer used in watercolor paintings. Since this foundation is transparent, it can be used in multiple ways. For example, you can apply it over a background and still see the background when you apply the next layer of color. You can also mix Horadam Aquarell Water-Colour Ground with a few drops of watercolor paint to get a colored primer. When the primer dries, a seetrough, smooth, matte and elastic film is formed, which makes the paint adhere better to the surface.

Suitable for smooth surfaces such as canvas, smooth cardboard and wood. The product can be used as is and should be applied in at least 3 layers. You can also dilute the product with a maximum of 10% water, then more layers are required.
